ABOUT ROBIN
Robin Tillotson is the Founder and Chief Cultural Officer for This...I...Do...For...Me,
a company geared toward offering women age 50+ international travel and cultural experiences.
Robin has curated travel journeys and escorted women to Australia, Spain, France, Morocco, Iceland, Canada, Colombia and Southeast Asia. These travel excursions emphasize bespoke and unique experiences that one would not be able to have on a traditional travel tour.
Robin has served as one of six Regional Directors for the City of Chicago’s Senior Services Unit where she has been charged with overseeing Life Enrichment, Nutrition/Fitness, Social Services and Wellness activities for one of the city’s busiest senior centers.
In her latest endeavor, she has created a podcast entitled “This...I...Do...For...Me: Women Over 50, Black and Fabulous!” It will launch in June 2019. Her desire is to present to the listening public Black women who are aging vibrantly and living life out loud.
From ziplining across the Grand Canyon, to mentoring youth in underserved communities in distress, these women are getting their second wind through encore opportunities, and this podcast will highlight just how special they are.
Robin often plays a key role in creating spaces for this demographic to network and share ideas that allow them to profoundly impact the lives of others. No matter what endeavor she is engaged in, she is always looking for ways to empower women.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Robin is an alumna of Oberlin College (B.A.) and the University of Chicago (M.S.W). Her professional experience encompasses the fields of Training/Development, University Human Resources, Women’s Services and Travel and Culture. Her favorite quote is “I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list (Susan Sontag).
Robin has served on a number of boards throughout her career and believes service is the hallmark of strong character development.
